We believe education is of utmost importance for these children. To this end we have placed 37 children into good schools in Atlantis and Melkbosstrand. In conjunction with the Melkbos Care Centre, these children are provided with daily transport to and from school, a healthy packed lunch, and all their school clothes, books, stationary and sundry items (school camps…etc) at our cost. The Care Centre helps with all aspects of their schoolwork and homework projects. It is a primary goal of ours to educate these children throughout school and then onto further tertiary education of their choice (ie tecnikon, university…etc).
We will also endeavour to assist with placement in attaining initial work experience. We believe these children have what it takes to make a substantial contribution to society.
